Site Evaluation
To help ensure that solar power is
the right investment for your
business or government facility,
RES will first perform a
comprehensive analysis of the hot
water use of your facility. An RES
site evaluator will then evaluate
your site’s physical characteristics
to determine the best solar option for the facility. Our knowledgeable evaluators will be able
to answer customer questions and express the many benefits of going solar.
Design
Our experienced designers will design a solar hot water system customized to your exact needs. We take precise measurements, conduct thorough site visits, and make advanced calculations to determine solar system location, sizing, and all other solar installation details.

Domestic Hot Water
Clean heat
Domestic Hot Water Solar water heating is a cost-effective alternative to gas or electric water heating systems.
Solar water heating is a cost-effective
alternative to gas or electric water heating
systems.
Water heating is one of the largest energy expense in
your home. It typically accounts for 20 percent or more
of your gas/oil bill. This adds up to a savings of
$400-$700 annual savings
Domestic Hot Water (DHW) systems are a clean, sustainable, and reliable energy solution.
A solar hot water production system will provide enough energy to meet 80%-90% of your total domestic
hot water needs, even in cold climates.
Our systems are specially designed to work well in all climates including the bitterly cold New England winter.
RES provides custom design and installation for each individual job to make sure the best possible system is used to maximize output.
DHW systems easily tie into your existing system which will then become the backup
In cases where the existing system is due for replacement or in new construction, a solar duel coil tank is used that saves money on installation and overall cost.
The solar thermal collectors are installed on a roof or mounted on a ground structure.
